Terms of Use

Version 2026-10-07.2 · 7 October 2026 · Free service

The free version of Rockso, including early access and the beta.

1. Purpose and operator

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to the free version of Rockso, a sports training support application and related services (“the Service”).

Rockso is published and operated by AIMS Corp., a French simplified joint-stock company registered under 941 923 682 RCS Paris. Its full identity, registered office and contact details are available in the legal notice. You can contact us at hello@rockso.app.

2. Intended users and free access

The Service may be used by adults and minors, subject to the rules applicable to their age and legal capacity. These Terms cover individual use of the free version, including during the beta. They do not constitute an agreement for human coaching, medical care or the supply of a professional offering to an organisation.

If you are a minor, permission or representation by your parent or legal guardian is required where applicable law requires it to accept these Terms. Consent to data processing is separate: in France, before age 15, processing based on consent in an online service requires joint consent from the minor and the holder of parental responsibility. From age 15, the minor may consent to such processing independently, without automatically having capacity to enter every contract. The rules of the country of residence remain applicable.

Access to this version involves no payment or paid subscription. You remain responsible for connection and equipment costs and, where relevant, subscriptions to third-party services. Any future paid offering will have separate terms and require your express agreement; your free account will not automatically become a paid subscription. Free access is not a trial period preceding payment.

Early access may depend on an invitation and beta capacity. Joining the waiting list does not create a user account or guarantee an access date.

3. Account and acceptance of the Terms

These Terms govern the free-use relationship between you and AIMS Corp. They create no purchase or payment obligation. This relationship is established for an indefinite period when these Terms have been presented to you and you have expressly accepted them to access the Service, with permission or representation by your legal guardian where necessary. The applicable version is the one presented to and accepted by you. Simply browsing the website does not constitute acceptance of the usage agreement.

Provide accurate account information, maintain an accessible email address and protect your credentials. Your account is personal. Promptly report suspicious access to support@rockso.app. Fraudulent use without your knowledge is not automatically attributed to you.

You can save or print these Terms using your browser. Acceptance is separate from the information about personal data and from consent required for specific processing activities.

4. Features and technical environment

Depending on the features available in your version, Rockso lets you view sports activities, enter a profile and perceived exertion or wellness information, monitor training load and recovery indicators, organise sessions or plans and interact with an assistant using artificial intelligence.

The features actually available are described in the application and the relevant distribution channel. Features announced for the future are not part of those supplied under these Terms. The beta may have limitations and defects; that status does not remove AIMS Corp.’s commitments or applicable statutory rights.

Use requires a device and operating system compatible with the information provided through the distribution channel. Synchronisation and some analyses require an internet connection. Available features and compatibility with connected devices or services may vary by platform and version.

5. Sports recommendations and artificial intelligence

Indicators, plans, estimates and AI coach responses are decision-support tools. They depend on data quality, the information you provide and the limitations of the methods used. An AI response may contain an error, omission or unsuitable interpretation, even when it appears precise.

Rockso does not provide medical diagnosis, prescriptions or care. Its recommendations do not replace advice from a healthcare professional or qualified coach and do not guarantee sporting results or the absence of injury.

Adapt suggestions to your condition, experience and training circumstances. In case of pain, injury, a medical condition or doubt about your fitness to exercise, stop the affected exercise and seek appropriate medical advice. You can report a problematic recommendation to support. These precautions do not limit AIMS Corp.’s statutory liability.

6. Third-party services and sharing

Connections to sports platforms, devices or other third-party services are optional and subject to integration availability and their providers’ terms. Only connect accounts or data you are authorised to access. A technical connection permission does not replace consent required for personal data processing.

An API change, restriction or interruption by a provider may affect synchronisation. AIMS Corp. informs you of known consequences and available solutions; its own obligations remain applicable.

Where sharing features with a coach or organisation are available, you choose the recipients and the data shared. Being a coach or belonging to an organisation does not, by itself, grant access to other users’ data.

External community spaces, including Discord, are also governed by their operators’ terms. Beta feedback is voluntary; avoid posting health information or third-party data in a shared space.

7. Rules of use

Use the Service for its intended purpose and respect other people’s rights. The following are prohibited:

  • impersonation and unauthorised access to an account or data;
  • unlawful content, harassment and infringement of third-party rights;
  • introducing malware, circumventing protections or tampering with systems;
  • abusive automated extraction or requests that disrupt the Service, and reselling access without authorisation.

These rules do not restrict uses permitted by law, including statutory software exceptions and reporting a vulnerability to AIMS Corp. in good faith.

8. Your content

You retain your rights in notes, files and other content you provide. You must have the permissions needed to import and share them, particularly when they concern another person.

You grant AIMS Corp. a non-exclusive permission to store, reproduce, process and transmit that content only as necessary to provide the features you use and ensure their security. This extends to technical providers for the same purposes and to the countries where those operations take place, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

This permission does not allow advertising exploitation or publication of your content without separate authorisation. It ends when the content is deleted, subject to justified retention described in the Privacy Policy. It is not consent to AI model training or reuse for research.

You can use the responses and plans supplied for your training. AI generation does not guarantee exclusive rights in those outputs.

9. Rockso intellectual property

Software, interfaces, texts, visuals, brands and other Service elements are protected by their respective holders’ rights. AIMS Corp. grants you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the Service for the duration of your access to the Service.

This use transfers no rights in Rockso. Reproduction, distribution or exploitation of its elements beyond authorised use requires the rights holder’s permission, subject to statutory exceptions.

10. Personal data and consent

AIMS Corp. is responsible for the processing described in the Privacy Policy, which explains data categories, purposes, recipients, retention periods and individual rights.

Accepting these Terms does not mean consenting to all data processing. Processing that requires consent, including health data processing when it relies on that ground, must involve specific information and a separate choice. You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Withdrawal may make features that require the relevant data unavailable; it does not automatically close your account. To exercise your rights or withdraw permission, use available controls or contact privacy@rockso.app.

11. Availability, updates and changes

AIMS Corp. maintains and secures the Service. Interruptions may result from maintenance, an incident or an external event. We inform you of planned interruptions likely to materially affect use and take appropriate steps to restore the Service. Continuous availability is not promised.

Updates may be needed to fix defects, maintain compatibility, strengthen security or comply with a legal obligation. Other changes may improve existing features or adapt an integration to a provider’s changes. They involve no additional cost under this free version.

A change with more than a minor negative impact on access or use is announced reasonably in advance through a means you can retain, including its date and consequences for your account. You can refuse or uninstall the change where possible and end the agreement free of charge. The specific rights under Article L. 224-25-26 of the French Consumer Code apply where the Service falls within that regime.

A material change to these Terms is communicated before it applies and requires renewed acceptance where necessary. No retrospective change is imposed; continued use alone is not consent to a new data processing activity.

12. Suspension, closure and discontinuation

AIMS Corp. may restrict or suspend access following a breach of these Terms, fraud, a serious security risk or a legal obligation. The measure is proportionate to the situation.

Except in an emergency, a particularly serious situation or where notification is legally prohibited, we explain the reason and allow a reasonable period to remedy the breach before permanent closure. If immediate action is necessary, we notify you as soon as possible. You can challenge the measure through support, which reviews your request.

If the free version is permanently discontinued as a planned decision, AIMS Corp. informs you at least 30 days in advance, unless a legal obligation or an event preventing continued operation makes this impossible. You can request the return of your content before closure. Statutory guarantees and remedies remain applicable.

13. Stopping use and deleting your account

You can stop using the Service and request account closure at any time, without fees or notice, by writing to support@rockso.app or using an account deletion control where available. Simply stopping use of the application does not delete your account.

Before deletion, you can request the return of your content and exercise access or portability rights under their statutory conditions. The account deletion page explains the procedure, timeframes and residual retention. Closure ends access to account-based features; data deletion follows the applicable procedure.

14. Liability and statutory guarantees

AIMS Corp. is responsible for breaches of its obligations under the conditions prescribed by law. Limitations of indicators, AI or external connections are not a general exclusion of liability. These Terms do not remove or reduce a user’s right to compensation under mandatory law. Statutory withdrawal rights remain applicable where their conditions are met; the absence of a price does not, by itself, exclude these rights.

Where the conditions for application are met, you benefit from the statutory conformity guarantee for digital content and services under Articles L. 224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code, including for services supplied without payment where the law so provides. For continuous supply, this guarantee covers defects arising during the supply period.

Report a defect to support@rockso.app. Where this guarantee applies, AIMS Corp. remedies non-conformity free of charge and without unjustified delay. Other statutory remedies, including termination in cases provided by law, remain available. The free or experimental nature of the Service does not exclude them.

15. Complaints and applicable law

For support or a complaint, write to support@rockso.app, identifying your account, the problem and the solution sought. AIMS Corp. reviews the request and replies by email. You can also write to its registered office using the details in the legal notice.

An amicable solution may be sought; this is not a prerequisite for exercising a remedy available by law. Statutory amicable dispute resolution mechanisms apply where they fall within the scope of the relevant agreement.

These Terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections under the law of your country of habitual residence continue to apply where they benefit you. Competent courts are determined by statutory rules; consumers are not required to use a Paris court exclusively.
